Greg Behrendt Show

From a recent show of his. Yes, much of what is on his show is just crap. But once in a while he has some useful information, particularly regarding relationships. Here are a couple of really good tips, not specific to abusive relationships, but just break-ups in general.
* No contact for 60 days - this allows you to build a fortress of self-respect. (60 YEARS is my personal requirement!)
* Start doing things alone that you previously did as a couple (take a vacation for example).
* The pain of being in a bad relationship is confusing. When it’s over - it’s OVER. No more confusion!
He gave one woman a necklace with a tag that said “I have an amazing future waiting for me but if I don’t let go of my past all I will have is misery. So screw that!”
I’ve seen the It’s Called a Break-Up Because It’s Broken CD at the library.
BTW, Greg also wrote He’s Just Not That Into You (HILARIOUS!). He was a writer on Sex and the City and he’s a stand up comedian so his stuff is really amusing to read.
